While the poor around the world are struggling to a earn basic living, I have known people, especially in the IT sector, quitting jobs despite earning six-figure salaries. Such voluntary resignations are often not correlated to compensation packages. Rather, it's a lot about poor job satisfaction and frustration with hectic work pressure that hardly leaves us with any free time for enjoying the precious life.

I'm Pete, an expat, software engineer, and solo traveller. I have been living in China for the last 4 years. I have seen numerous countries, and I've been to 57 cities in the mainland China alone.
