I met my cousin Salvatore for the first time a few years ago in Sicily while visiting his mother, my cousin, Maria. After that, we kept in touch by email and social media. One day he texted me a video of an Andrea Bocelli concert that he attended. I told him I had seen Andrea in NYC at Radio City Music Hall with my friend Franceen and hoped to see him again one day. A week later, I received another text message from Salvatore with a blurry photo. I replied saying that I couldn't see the photo and asked what it was. He texted, "Your tickets for July 27, 2019, to see Andrea in Tuscany." Can you imagine how flabbergasted I was when Salvatore extended an invitation to visit him in Pisa and to attend the Andrea Bocelli Concert at the Theatre of Silence in Tuscany? He said, "You can stay as long as you want, a day, a week, or a year. There is so much more to see and explore." Wow! Tuscany in July! It truly was a once-in-a-lifetime adventure!
