Life is the best teacher for any human being. As a human being starts his journey from childhood he keeps on encountering one hurdle after another. These are just like pearls in the ocean and safely kept in the chests of our subconscious mind. She/He remembers some and forgets many. However as she/he crosses one hurdle he takes the lessons from it and tries to solve the next one which immediately creeps in. She/He gets tempered and become wiser as one travels from his/her cradle till his last journey to grave. However very few bring out those pearls, memoirs to be precise, from their chests which may prove invaluable source of energy to many in the society. These may help them come out of the dark labyrinth they are in today and be ready for the impending battles they are going to face in near future. The idea encouraged the author, born in Calcutta just after independence of India, with uncanny ability to read human minds, at last to bring out those pearls of life saved in the memory chip of the brain in the form of short stories for the benefit of the readers and the society at large. This part of book comprises of a dozen short stories which covers the following areas: - Childhood - Relatives, - Worker - Corporate life - College life - Durga Puja - Teacher The stories are quite absorbing and heart wrenching.
