Welcome to the Adventures of Merri Berri Blue" and our first installment in the series is finally available. Tu-Tu Much is a story for all ages, both young and old alike. Enter the world of Lucy Lockets, a ten-year-old girl who is considered special. Lucy, of course, hates the word Special because it means that she can't walk, use her hands nor speak very well. Lucy was born with Cerebral Palsy and is confined to a wheelchair, but her mind, her heart, and her attitude learn to soar with adventure and high spirits as she learns to cope with her bodily limitations, she also learns to deal with the preconceived ideas of others, and conquers a positive image of who she is and her place in the world. In her search, Lucy is joined by her very own Spark of Spirit (or Spirit Guide) and is led through many of the trials and tribulations of growing up with Cerebral Palsy by her Spark Merri Berri Blue. Merri is a constant inspiration for Lucy as she helps Lucy through the good, the bad, and the ugly of life. It isn't easy living with Cerebral Palsy, but Lucy and Merri work together in this inspiring story and will motivate all who read it to understand that even if life gives you lemons that is why God created Lemonade. This book is based on the life story and experiences of its author Sunday Ericson so it is based on true life experiences in dealing with all that life has to offer. But in our incredible story you will see that nothing is sugar coated for Lucy. Her physical challenges are many and she deals with them openly. We sit in on therapy that evokes pain, anger, and the "big " questions of "Why me?" and "Why was I born this way?" In her search for answers, Lucy encounters many emotions; anger doubt, fear, and self-pity. Lucy is neither a heroine or a victim.
