Emma has been plagued by the ability to see and communicate with the dead. When the world around her has been less than welcoming she commits herself to St. Charles Asylum. If there's one place she can escape to and find some sort of normalcy this would be the place. She can definitely count on her gift -or curse- sticking around but it should be the same spirits and demons daily... that is until the new wing is finished and she has to move. The move is exciting and a welcome after the horrors of her living conditions but soon that anticipation turns to dread as day in and out her life is being rocked. Things are different there; worse even. Emma is constantly being reminded of things from her horribly painful past and as she navigates her new nightmares and flashbacks a new reality sets in... and it's not at all what she expected & there's no way out.
