In the small town of Clover Pointe on the shores of Lake Erie, two dead visitors and one missing woman cast a dark shadow over the July 4th celebrations. Dash Hammond, retired Army Colonel, finds himself the center of attention when he is arrested for murder. Heavy artillery will be needed to clear his name. Annie Dewitt, his neighbor and sometime lover, is now his nemesis. Emmysue Miller, Prom Queen of 1983, sets off her own special fireworks at the class reunion.
