The Rape Culture is seen as the new black. It is a norm depicted to be humorous. In India, a girl is raped every 20 minutes, and most perpetrators believe that when a woman says "no," she really means "yes" (Kamdar et al., 2017). Now, in this same study, 30% of the participants believe that the victim has had previous sex with the perpetrator. In my cases, I had not had sex with any of them prior to the incident(s). 35% of these participants also believed that the perpetrators were strangers. Well, in my cases, they were not. 40% of the participants believe that the victim was drunk. In my case, this is certainly not true. I have never smoked, drank or did drugs even until today - not a wine cooler, beer, wine, or champagne - nothing not even a sniff. 50% of the participants believe that men just have a strong sex-drive and need to relieve that sexual tension. Well, I cannot speak on behalf of men. Strain, Martens, and Saucier, (2016) study was completed in the United States and see rape as the new norm as it is depicted in comedy, literature and on television in humorous ways. Fisher, Cullen, and Turner, (2000) study says that one out of every four women in the United States will be raped in their lifetime. ABOUT THE AUTHOR Michelle A. McGrone graduated Magna Cum Laude in her Bachelor's Degree program where she majored in Information Technology with a concentration of Computer Forensics and thereby; was inducted into the International Honor Society for Technology Professionals - Epsilon Pi Tau of Delta Delta Chapter. She went on to further her education. Her Master's Degree is in Information Technology with a concentration in Information Assurance and Security, and her G. P. A. was over 3.8. Michelle did not just stop at her Master's Degree; she went on to her doctoral degree. Her major is Business Administra- tion with a specialization in Computer and Information Security. Successfully completing all of her doctoral courses and passing all four of her comprehen- sive examinations, she is working on her dissertation. Her dissertation is on Advanced Cybersecurity measures, in particular to, Advanced Biometric Technology, Non-Invasive Electroencephalography and Authenticating remotely. Currently, Michelle is working on her multi-billion dollar empire/journey.
