Honeymooners Barbara and Trent have no idea whatawaits them at the Old Fox Inn. In a seemingly idyllicsetting in the Kentucky woods, the Old Fox appears tobe just the right secluded and romantic spot for them. But the staff of the Inn have their own secrets; and aghostly legend comes to life when midnight falls. Oncea popular fox hunting venue, the Inn still serves upplenty of action. In the 1840's a group of fox hunterswent out one day and were never seen again. Sincethen a ghostly procession locals call the midnight huntrides across the moonlit fields in front of the Inn. Andwhen the midnight hunt rides, they say, someone willdie. When Jack, one of the owners, has a suspiciousaccident his brother, co-owner Michael Dalton, asksthe Trentons to stay on and help out during the busyfall season while Jack is recovering. The midnighthunt is seen and heard much too often. In fact MichaelDalton and the others at the Inn have come tothe conclusion that it's all too human, with a frighteningunknown agenda. Things are made more complicatedwhen Michael, although married to Mary, develops an interest in his front desk clerk/dining roomwaitress, who is much younger. Added to Michael'sproblems is the fact that the nearby Pennyrile StateResort Park is trying to buy his land out from underhim, and his brother Jack is all too eager to sell. Willsomeone really have to die? Who will it be?
