Christianity started in Egypt after the Greek invasion in 332 bce, with the worship of Serapis. It was later re-imagined at the Nicaean council in 325 ce. 8. It was called the Aethiopian Ocean, then the Atlantic Ocean. 9. Africa was not named after the Roman general who was born Plubius Cornelius Scipio.
