As you read, you will learn about two families, the Murphy and the Scott Families. The Murphys are a big family and their oldest is Lexi who is getting ready to go to BYU. She has her life all planned out and any deviation from this plan, she feels will corrupt her destiny. She learns that Heavenly Father is the pilot of her destiny and she needs to align her goals and dreams with those that He has chosen. You use what you learn in this life to help others. The only way to do that is to stay close to Him in prayer and listen to that still small voice. Then, instead of being constantly disappointed that your plans did not work out, you are always amazed at the twists and turns as He leads you through this life. He brings you into the presence of others for a reason. The other family is the Hess-Scott family. Lexi's best friend is also planning to go to BYU to study international business law and German business law so that he can be prepared to take his place at the head of his family's company, Timeless Treasures. This year is now 2015 and Zachary, future heir to the Scott fortune in Grandfather clocks is entering his Senior year at Jefferson High School. His friend Lexi will tutor him in German. Zachary, his father Adam and grandfather Peter do not know very much about the Hess name or any correlation to WW II war criminal, Rudolph Hess. They did not know the whole story of Great, Great Uncle Rolfe Hess but only that Great Grandfather Hans Hess had come here with father, Wilhelm and mother, Edita as a child. One day, when he is ready, they know he will tell them their family story. It's time. The lives of the two families will come together to solve a eighty-year-old international war crime.
