A woman runs frantically, chased by unknown pursuers, to a lighthouse atop a cliff, where after climbing to the top, she inexplicably steps off the lighthouse parapet and plummets into the sea. The year is 1833.



This is the nightmare that Sabrina "Bri" Hall has been plagued with ever since moving to an old house on remote Jackal's Head Point, where she fled to after her dreams of a wedding and family came to an abrupt end.



At first she does not remember the dreams, and they continue to plague her, until Bri meets Matt, a craftsman from a neighboring town who ends up helping her renovate the house that she hopes to turn into an inn someday. As the work on the house and their feelings for each other progress, the nightmares only become more vivid and terrifying. Eventually, Bri is forced to learn the truth behind the house's unresolved history and to settle old scores once and for all...or else risk suffering the same fate as the woman in her dreams.
