Fresh out of prison 27-year-old Benny Miller a.k.a. 'Struggle' is determined to make something of himself. And to get to know the son he left behind as a baby, but he has to find him first. On his search, he wines up in a rap contest and surprisingly his hardship lyrics crushes all contenders. From there his life makes a 360 degree turn and this ex-con becomes a household name in every hood. But being in the lime light, Struggle quickly finds out that his fame has made him a walking target. If they weren't out for his riches they were out for his life. Though his adversaries didn't realize he left the hood, but the hood never left him. Will Struggle's street mentality keep him at the top of the totem pole or will it lead him back to prison, poverty or in the graveyard?
