When Mitch Gainer abruptly moves back to his childhood home in Idaho, he encounters danger and scandals on the local Native American reservation.

He thought he had escaped its pull after becoming a successful Cleveland psychologist, but he couldn't stay away forever. A drug lord who's taken over the tribal council, Young White Bear has his own unsavory plans for the reservation. A childhood friend, a Vietnam veteran, an English aristocrat, a tribal princess, and medicine woman will all serve as guides and allies for Gainer in the struggles ahead.
