This mash-up of "Shakespeare in Love" with "The Big Lebowski" takes place on a stage with a woman in a beautiful Elizabethan dress and a man in a Hawaiian shirt and blue jeans. Mrs. Shakespeare returns to the present to defend her husband's authorship question, but she must share the stage with an American guy--the Dude. She despises men and he's half a Buddhist. She tries to get him off the stage, but he has other ideas. They agree to an "Improv lecture," however, every time the Dude tries to talk about Shakespeare's writings, she gets him off topic, and hopefully off the stage. The Dude has relevant topics concerning today that he shares. She has a sense of humor, whereas the Dude is way too serious, or is he? Wit and humor abound until a duel takes place. William Shakespeare is "channeled" on stage for his thoughts and as a referee. "Wild Bill," helps the past come to the present to help the future. This book is funny, entertaining, and becomes a medical thriller involving 700,000 preventable deaths per year! Facts are blended into the fun. "Annie and the Dude" is an introduction to the classics, minus the bother of having to read them. Topics in this funny conversation include: "For Men Only," TV Shows, Relationships, Politics and the Media, Movies, JOKES, Musicals, Riddles, Health and food issues, Cowboys, one-liners, Pirates, Zombies, snarky put-downs, "heightenism", self-help, Marijuana, Guns, Death, and plenty of smiles and laughs for the reader. This book is "Rated PG-13" for Adult Themes. "FUN! This book is a great romp for everyone."--Ben Franklin "Funniest novel ever!" --Anonymous "Like no other book that ever was written." --Walt Whitman "Unputdownable" --Mark Twain "I wish I had read this before my last sword fight." --Hamlet "You better pay attention to this book!" --"Doc" Holiday "So, that is what love is? --Romeo & Juliet "This book makes sense--even to me." --Dr. Strangelove "Where was this book when I was growing up?" --Holden Caulfield "I've got to change my name to some vegetable?"--Dr. Frank-N-Furter "I'm so sorry I lacked humor in my life."--Dr. Jekyll "Be curious and enjoy"--a dog
