Breaking Open to God analyzes what socially and theologically took place in the exchange between Jesus and his original audiences when Jesus told parables. The salient points of that exchange are then brought into a 21st Century context and are applied to a theological and ecclesiological presentation that postmodern Christians may find appealing.
