Ever since her first adventure on Faraway, Poplar Morgan has wanted to be a witch, and to learn to cast spells. If she'd had any idea how boring learning magick could be, she might have changed her mind! But then, she wouldn't have been on the Ilse of Thyme when danger arrived, and she wouldn't have had a summer adventure trying to escape from it and save her new friends at the same time. Each spell she casts, thinking this will be the one to win the day, seems to misfire, until she learns the secret a giant's witch is keeping. But will she be a strong enough witch by then to work a spell to save all the magick on Faraway?
