In his first book, "The Story of the Glory", Robert Doorn and his wife Glenyce shared their life story of some fifty years of ministry. The Doorns met in Bible School in Minneapolis and were married in 1950. Robert "Bob" Doorn was raised in the Reformed Church, while Glenyce grew up in a strict Baptist Curch. However their diverse backgrounds uniquley blend their individual callings. Papa and Mama Doorn (as they are known) have lived a life led by the Holy Spirit and grounded in the Word of God. Like Moses, their cry has been "Show us Your Glory!" They have been in selfless pursuit for God's best and God has demonstrated His care for His servants through their lifestyle of miracles and provison. In this book, Papa Doorn reveals how the Glory of God has touched the Nations through them.
