This book is deliberately designed to appeal to those readers who are looking for poems that touch upon issues of faith and spirituality. They are poems culled from the author's previous collections - collections that were more universal in their appeal. It seems appropriate to bring together a group of poems that could be used for those quiet moments when the reader chooses to touch upon such perennial issues as the mystery of God and how we find God in prayer, the joy of finding God in the world around us, the inevitability of death. The poems also deal with language and how the intricacies and fumblings of language ultimately find meaning in the one Word. Some poems follow Christ through both the happiness and suffering of his life, but also give us a glimpse into his consoling relationships after the Resurrection.
