Blade is abandoned on a mysterious ranch in South America. Looming over the ranch is a mythical mountain that both terrifies and obsesses him. Locals believe the mountain is home to a Machi, an infamous shaman and witch doctor that once ordered the ritual sacrifice of a little boy just like him. Blade finds an odd little girl on a prairie that leads him ever closer to danger, ever closer to the mountain. This is a coming of age story, the first in a series that follows the strange and wonderful life of Blade Woodward.
