Personal Reflections Susanna Doolin
Personal Reflections
Susanna Doolin
This book contains a collection of short stories about the life and times of Susanna Doolin, growing up in England and later in a small, rural town on the outskirts of Toronto. She transports the reader back to a much simpler time when life seemed idyllic and uncom- plicated. She recounts some of her most memorable travel experiences to the Grand Canyon, Churchill, Manitoba, the spa town of Karlovy Vary and her first cruise. She chronicles her extensive solo visits across Canada and the important role Canada played in her life. She also recollects some of her vivid memories of her family and others who made an indelible impression on her. Susanna has been compiling this book of true stories on and off over the past ten years. They are a reflection of her life. She wanted to share her experiences so that others would know that a skinny kid from humble beginnings has the ability to rise up, go out into the world, and have an amazing adventurous life.
