I would like to say that the twelve flakes of wisdom shared in this book were delivered to me in a spiritual way as in the case of King Solomon; but that would be only presumption on my part. Rather, I must admit that these flakes of wisdom fell like snowflakes on me over the decades. It was through God's grace that they fell, to be sure, but not because I was of the "house and lineage of Solomon." Like any other gift of God's grace to me and others, I received these personal flakes of wisdom-along with many more. They are to be received and shared, not ignored or discarded. Thus, I offer to you the reader my Flakes of Wisdom.
