Francis Nii, a graduate in economics from the University of Papua New Guinea, is a paraplegic and belongs to Salt Nomane Karimui in the Simbu Province of PNG. Formerly a banker, Francis is a novelist and an award winning essayist. His latest book called Reading Comprehension Textbook: Language and Literature Skills Learning Aid for Secondary Schools in Papua New Guinea and Melanesia is on sale at Amazon. This volume is a collection of some of Francis' essays on social, economic and political issues affecting Papua New Guinea today. They are an interesting read and at the same time thought provoking educational materials for secondary schools and colleges.
