This book is filled with poetry that gives you an inside view of my life experiences, my beliefs and values, and the growing pains I had to endure to be shaped into the woman I am today. Through my poetic gift I want to speak to your heart and help eliminate the belief that people are alone and not able to overcome traumatic experiences. Through my words and my life I provoke people to evaluate themselves and their circumstance and be an active participant in their healing process. It is my ultimate desire to see people develop their authentic selves. This book reminds us that who we are, is not determined by circumstances but by how we choose to live through them.
