Sometimes life has a way of knocking you down. I wrote these poems when I was knocked down. Spent about five months in a wheelchair. Physical therapy and a lot of hard work. This greatly changed my perception on life. The everyday struggles I have achieved were like milestone. Thanks to my wonderful wife who took care of me. I'm on the road to recovery. Praise God for everything He's done . All of us think we have it all figured out. Me, being no exception. I was working all the time. Money was good until I had a reckoning, I was helpless, could not even get myself a glass of water. Its a humbling experience to become not self sufficient. Now my words, "If I could touch your soul then I could be whole." I see the value of that quote explained to me. The purpose of what life really contains. Love, Mercy, Grace, and Forgiveness. You may never know what kind word spoken to a stranger. Planted a seed of mercy, or forgiveness.
