Born during WW2 in a family of 4 children whose father disappears during the War. Then abandoned by him when found, but brought up by a determined mother rather than see us split up. Followed by the trials and joys of life, when charting a lone course in life, as a Soldier, and Engineer. Finding the thrill of Skydiving then qualifying as a teacher to go on to take part in many World Challenge expeditions and a happy family life.
