Tom & Sarah revisit the world beneath our feet, known to them for the strange and unusual creatures that live there. They were invited on a journey of discovery, into the Earth right beneath their feet. The adventure began at the archway of Tom's secret place, a lightning struck old oak tree. Many creatures hidden from the eyes of humanity help the two children learn about the planet we call home. When Earth itself comes under threat from humans, the creatures unite in their world known as 'Down'. They can help and guide us in our world, referred to by them simply as 'Up'. Meet creatures like Melk, a six limbed, rat faces book keeper and busybody or Trendor, a half owl half lion creature of superior intelligence. You will recognize animals such as deer, foxes and badgers in the book. See how they work together to help Tom and Sarah continue their trek through this mysterious world.
