This is a sequel to Barbara Eknoian's first novel, Chances Are: A Jersey Girl Comes of Age which takes place in the fifties. In this book, Susie is celebrating her 75th birthday. She is alone, sitting on a park bench, thinking about her life. She ponders that everyone probably has some regrets when they reach her age, With that thought, she says, "If I could go back in time, I'd re-do my high school experience. I was just too damn shy and missed out on a lot." No sooner said, she hears a school bell and she's back in the fifties at Memorial High, unaware that she has just time traveled from 2017.
