Strange Worlds Anthology Steven Roy Sommers

Strange Worlds was published in 1952 by Avon Comics and included as their artists my all time favorite, Wally Wood, best known for his contribution to the early MAD Comics and then later, Mad Magazine. Wally Wood was THE master of the bug-eyed Alien Monster and the curvaceous scantily clad heroine, usually tied up waiting for the hero with his ray gun to come rescue her. Wood was joined with other renowned comic book artists, such as: Joe Kubert (Hakwman, Sgt. Rock), Everret Raymond Kinstler and painter Charles Sultan.
