I am a retired social studies school teacher and am married to David. We are blessed with two children. God is awesome. His ways are great. When we take the time to listen He will impart to us His desires and plans. I had heard from God many times but in 2007 and 2008 God began speaking messages to me. In 2008 God instructed me to write them down as devotions. At first they were emailed to friends and then as time went by more and more people began to join the devotion by email. In 2012 He said put them into a book. Flowers of Devotion became the name of the first devotional book He ask me to write. The name was dropped into my Spirit one day as I was working in my flower garden when I was reminded that someone may deliver the flowers but God created them. Flowers of Encouragement was given the name of the book. My prayer is that as you read this book, you will hear God speak through these words to encourage you to keep going, to go deeper with Him. He is the vine and we needed to stay connected. The best way to do that is to read His Word, pray and obey.
