Narcissistic abuse is soul destroying. Whether you are an A. C. O. N (adult child of a narcissist) or have been in a relationship with a narcissist, you know what i mean.


Narcissistic abuse (the gaslighting, the manipulations, the total lack of regard for you as a human being) destroys you piece by piece as you are used for 'supply' by the narcissist. The narcissist has no real 'sense of self' so they need to feed on yours to survive (similar to the way a vampire requires blood).

Recovering from a relationship with a narcissist is hard and requires active work, whether you go low contact or no contact. "Recover from the Narcissist: Color to Cope" is an art therapy tool to help you do that. Coloring is a proven stress reliever and allows your mind to enter a state where you can process emotions on a deeper level. 'Society at large' is still largely ignorant of this form of abuse and will likely not understand that you need to take time to recover from a narcissist. I say "f*ck 'em!" They don't know what it feels like for your life to be turned upside down and inside out by a narcissist; heart broken, soul shattered. You deserve and owe it to yourself to take the time to heal.
