Talin Corwin, son of Jack Corwin and Claurinda Finisterre, had escaped from the obscenity that was Fargo 5's Horkaarito Corrections Center. The escape had been a daring feat, making use of the talents Jack had inherited from his father, but also marking him as one of the most wanted criminal in the human worlds. When Klaast Turill used another former Horkaarito inmate Cassiopeia Seneca to catch Talin in a trap, he gave them both two options: be delivered back to Horkaarito; or help Turill to make it possible to relocate over ten-thousand colonists to a distant world called 'Tethys' by its now-dead discoverer; and to ensure that nobody in the human worlds would ever be able to find them. With their lives on the line, Talin and Cassiopeia agreed to help Turrill; even if this involved setting the development of the human worlds back by centuries. Turillian Odyssey is the third prequel to the Tethys series of novels. It is also the third story involving the century-spanning history of the Corwin family.
