Problem solving can be a dangerous occupation, for the culprit doesn't wish to be caught and incarcerated behind bars. Persons will kill to escape, paying for their illegal activities for, although thievery is hard work, the gains are rewarding, with minimal effort of time and risk. Police agencies attempt to train their men regarding acceptable methods of apprehension. However, few men or women have the capacity to learn methods of nonviolent apprehension, and thus a talented novice can accomplish the impossible apprehensions because it is alien to their nature. This is the story of such a talented novice.
