As we we taking my grandson to work there in a cow field was a horse and rider checking fences. It was like going back in time. I love it. This is the new cover for the year. It is me and it is you too if you are a writer. Here is to watching our stories grow, working alone and knowing when to take breaks. He was checking for broken fences and fixing them. What's the job description of a line rider you may ask? 1. To be on the watch for who's missing and not here. When the group gathers, the line rider seeks out strays. Finds out why they aren't there. 2. To be able to work alone most of the time. Must walk the lonelier path. The line rider goes after the ones lost. 3. To know when to take breaks, get out. Those who spend a lot of time looking for strays also need social times. Activities with others, for accountability and support.
