The fourth book of French Saga tackles one of the great illnesses of American society: gun violence. We meet a most peculiar couple of hoarders in Park Slope, Brooklyn. Unfortunately, Huguette visits Anastasia, the lady of the house, who guns her down. We are quite delighted to meet Amantina, a loving caretaker with a strong Spanish accent, but the sweet lady will experience a horrible tragedy. Will Anderson be able to forgive Anastasia for her murderous deed? Will forgiveness change the course of events in America? Our characters always meet in Ji Su's deli until jealousy and division threaten the group. The fight turns to Washington DC, where a couple of corrupt lobbyists conspire. Their child, Oswin, triggers a series of event that will have dire consequences for many, and that will end with the NRA members being served their favorite medicine. Finally, will Anastasia survive the great ordeal that will ease her guilt, and contribute to free the country of much of the gun violence? Will politicians grow a spine or continue to follow the wind?These many questions will be solved in the most entertaining manner. Of course, a French Saga book cannot finish without a huge party with six million eyes crying tears of joy at the mall in DC.
