Dylan is a preschool teacher who decides to become a foster parent, feeling a strong need to provide a safe and loving home for children in need of one. He quickly realizes the responsibility reaches past his expectations when he forms an attachment to five boys and their case worker. Nathan is a social worker who is fresh out of college and very passionate about keeping children healthy and safe, reuniting families whenever possible. He quickly learns that he is over his head when he begins to get a little too close to a certain foster father.
