Growing up in the 50's, 60's and 70's was an exciting and challenging time. The rules were strict and the punishment for broken rules was always a learning experience. Discipline and respect was practiced with love for each other but especially for teachers and parents. The activities were simple with church, school, chores and homework and the family was our first and most important aspect of living. Memories of those days are recalled in the weekly news articles that have been printed in the North Georgia in the paper since 1973. These articles range in subject matter from early growing up into later years of social issues, technology, and political changes. Many are hilarious; many are serious; but a book you will enjoy over and over again.
