Regina Perpetua Pearl (unfortunate eponymous not quite niece of a cantankerous old girl) 09th April 2009 At about the time that one was born there lived in the world a wondrous fawn Bedridden most of the time by painfully cankerous sores Caused no doubt by riding daily upon her horse Donald was the name of her horse, a handsome young stallion of Elephantine purport Frighteningly fast and of elegant deport Gentlemanly reared to a thoroughbred standard so dear in Hampshire (I believe or near) He would saunter all day and at night would bray until he was ensconced snugly in hay In the night there would pass all kinds of things in the grass Jocund as such to make Donald want to play Killarney was where this all took place and never was there one to be found more Likely than he to break out the champers and have a good old knee More of that another time Now as Donald would be ensconced - supposedly Out of bed would rise the wondrous fawn, bedridden you'll remember, by painful sores Pull back the curtains and change into new draws Quintessentially English although in Ireland found her board from earliest childhood - Roscommonly reared by her old aunt Maude She would dance all through the night and give everyone a bally old fright The same way she did when she was visiting her sister's grandkid to tell her that her next Unborn child was undoubtedly a girl and should be named Regina Perpetua Pearl, but Violent was the anger, disappointment and the rancor when out popped a little dangler Which certainly wasn't wished for and wasn't what was paid for (but more of that anon) Xerxes was a man though as was Francis Xavier so why there was so much pathos Yours truly can't say any more although I guess it has something to do with spinster pets Zilch is what I care though cause I just wanted to tell you a little alphabet trifle of a jest (c) Copyright Christopher Bellamy
