Whisked away from their home town through a rift in space, Monica and her best friend Pippa find themselves on a different world where they befriend a human-like android. The teenagers are soon discovered by the Consortium, a group of evil scientists who send The Keepers to track them down and capture them. Their only hope of returning home lies in The Key of Passage, a device that can open a rift in space. Their search takes them to the Badlands where they are trapped by the Games Master and must solve his fiendish puzzles to escape.
