Thirty Slices of Birthday Cake M a Craft

We never think about how we play a huge part in the way our child learns how to count fractions. We never thought about cutting parts from a whole and counting 1/8, 2/8, in front of our young child. Yet, in your child's classroom, he/she is expected to know how to naturally count by fractions. I wanted to create a book about fractions that would be engaging with pictures, interesting to learn about, and able to build a fundamental concept about fractions that would not have been thought about had they not read this book.
