Into the hands of every individual is given a marvelous power for good or evil---the silent, unconscious, unseen influence of his life. This is simply the radiation of what man really is, not what he pretends to be. In retrospect, more than six decades later, I can say that mine was a very good life, filled with joys and tragedies, love and sorrow, without which I never would have experienced the full spectrum of my humanity - intellectual, spiritual, and physical. This is a story about good and evil and the continual battle over the forces in a small boy's life which fostered a desire as an adult to confront domestic and foreign influences which are destroying lives and relationships today! I will never completely comprehend, but the undeniable evidence of fate playing a significant role in my life is apparent to me after a lifetime of pondering and the events which I will now relate.
