The Harvest
Rod Palmer
Loraine is overcome with grief over losing her son to Chicago's gun violence. She is lonesome and struggling financially because she lost her husband to a spineless thot. Piling bills force Loraine to glue herself back together and return to work at Sinclair and Mercer fine jewelry, where a handsome and exquisitely dressed stranger walks in and shows Loraine proof that the young man in custody is not her son's killer - that her son's murder is still a mystery. The Chicago P. D, satisfied with their bird-in-the-hand suspect, rejects the evidence, but warns Loraine about the dark stranger who has worked his way into her life - that the tall, muscular man with the facial angles of a male model is none other than Face: Chi-town's undisputed king-pin. Without the help of the police, Rain, a woman of faith, and Face, a man of many contradictions, investigate on their own. Together they tumble down the rabbit-hole conspiracy of her son's murder. While attempting to unveil one of the most intricate and egregious crimes ever on U. S. soil, their only certainty is this: faith is as blinding as love.
