When I was asked why I like writing and what inspires me to do so. I would have to say, journaling was my inspiration, but life is what inspires me. It has allowed me, to use my imagination to write about things that mainstream life-like challenges that were inspired by our own personal surroundings, difficulties, and the many challenges we face everyday as a person and not just as individuals. I was also inspired through the observation of others and their stories. What inspired me to write. Poetry has a therapeutic balance and can be used in many ways. It is a story of life, death, history, and the future. The untold stories of our trials and tribulations. The balance of who we are and where we come from. I write because it allows me to challenge and channel my own emotions, expressions and feeling, as well as the observation of others, and personal encounters. I was born on January Twenty-First, Nineteen-Seventy-Three, in Springfield, Missouri. I am Forty-Three years old. Currently living in Kansas City, Missouri. In a years' time, I was able to write more than one hundred and twelve poems, currently, have fifty-seven published with two other poetry books titled, "A Thoughtful Journey Through My Thoughts", and "A Journey Waiting". Which has not been easy and has taken a lot of motivation and dedication.
