Scriptures and science fiction writers seem to agree, that when it comes to living, we find ourselves in a "lost and fallen" world and the "kipple" is ever-growing. To make matters worse, every one of us has within him or her a bad wolf at war with the good wolf. It doesn't seem to matter what our intentions are, whether we aspire to sainthood or the license to live as we please. The Anti-Hero & The Disciple is a collection of poetry, fiction, and nonfiction. To some - on either side of the fence - this work might seem troubling. But the aim of this volume is to meet people where they are at, and to build bridges, to show how we are more the same than we are different, to shine hope in forgotten places. In this spirit, this book explores not only what it means to be a disciple of Christ in a fallen world, but a forlorn creature seeking solace in the belly of an indifferent world.
