Johnnetta Lynn King has returned to the FBI. Johnnetta Lynn enjoys her nickname, Johnnie. The first case of her return finds Noah Drake, her team leader, and herself in New York City. Together they team with Detectives Kevin Porter and Jameson Brannon to investigate the sudden and unexplained deaths of two individuals in the elite commercial and residential high rise. The deaths have occurred the same day but at different times. They discover that fatalities have affected both young and old. How has this tragedy happened? No signs of forced entry and no visible sign of their demise. Soon Noah and Johnnie discover that Michael, Johnnie's husband and owner of Security Now, is also in New York at the request of the mayor. Soon the six individuals, set on a common goal, find it advantageous to work together. Before long the group grows not only by several of Noah's team but also by two civilians. The body count grows, and soon someone close to the team loses a dear friend. The situation turns dire when they discovered that there is more to this case than initially believed. Can the group of now ten members prevent any more deaths? Who will be next and why has this occurred to these innocent individuals?
