On Your Mark - The Research Project This volume is a research project. For some years, I had been enmeshed in an extended skirmish with an atheist. The cause for the continuing battle of ideologies between us was, at its core, due to the fact that he had, in his mind, ideas and perceptions of Christianity which are drastically not what Christianity is at all, by a long shot. I urged him, "Please let me show you what Christianity really is." One of the main goals of this research project is to clarify what Christianity really is as opposed to what countless numbers of people perceive it to be, which is a far different thing. In other words, the overall task is to come to a correct understanding of what true Christianity is and what it is not. This project does not tell anyone what to think or what to believe. The way that this study is built, participants gather their own data and reach their own findings. What's more, they will be able to do it in a way that is logical, rational and even scientific. And, after all, for a person to reach his findings on his own is a better way by far for him to be truly satisfied with what he has learned.
