River of Time
James E Sanford Jr
Time travel takes a new twist. Robert Crismore is jogging in a pristine regional park in California when he is struck in the head by a falling tree branch. When he regains consciousness, he finds himself five hundred years in the past. The story follows Robert's experiences interacting with the native American people of California before the time of Columbus, but also the parallel chronicle of how he and his wife Linda become telepathically connected. In this time, Robert is in a coma. However, researchers begin to discover something unusual in Robert's brain pattern. Time becomes a major factor in Robert's survival and Linda's sanity.
