Do you have young people in your ministry who have potential, but seem to lack ministry etiquette? Are you a young person who seeks to better themselves in ministry so that you can be effective and successful? In ministry, young people are the most often overlooked, degraded, misunderstood and underestimated. It could be due to the extremity of their past mistakes, their unorthodox method of conducting ministry within the church or even the reality that some seasoned leaders have become jealous of the potential and substance that he or she may possess. Regardless of the reason, this should not be! However, the young people aren't to blame. It's those who are seasoned who dropped the ball along the way by becoming prideful, jealous hearted, possessive and some full of sin. Therefore, someone has to teach them that being musically fluent of the hymns of the church, being skillful in exegeting a text, being knowledgeable about the history of an organization as well as the doctrine of the denomination doesn't make you qualified in ministry. Instead, all that means is that they've merely mastered the art of ministry, gained charisma and made a few friends. So, someone has to stand in the gap and let it be know that the "heart of ministry" is more important than the "art of ministry" will ever be! With that being said, in this book, we will discuss how youth in ministry should conduct themselves as far as their character outside of the four walls of the church, the importance of respecting leadership, embracing the proper calling, the meaning of servitude and more!
