Praying for Rain
Lorraine Rayment
Rachel Brown suddenly begins to be tormented by recurring dreams. The psychiatrist explains to her that her unconscious is finally dealing with a plethora of deep seated issues from many years in the past. Rachel finds that if your dream contains certain symbols, they reflect what your unconscious is trying to relay: thus helping to resolve conscious dilemmas, and, or anxieties. As she begins to explore the meanings of her dreams, and how she can help rid herself of them, she finds herself pulled in many directions--both mentally and physically. She accepts an unexpected offer to go on a journey with her church to the Holy Land. A trip she'd always hoped to take as part of her "bucket list." However, the journey becomes much more than she, or any of her fellow travelers bargained for. Soon what began as a beautiful trip, rich in culture and biblical history, becomes full of terror and tragedy. Though for Rachel, the ordeal helps her to face her fears, rid herself of the tormenting dreams, and finally allow herself to move on with her life as the person she was meant to be.
