What would you do if the Army gave you unlimited vaults of money to build them new age technology? In Kaptain's case, he forgot the Army's orders and allowed his mind to wander too far. He ended up creating the newest species on the planet: The A. L.s (Artificial Life: artificial intelligence contained within biological bodies). On their way home from the mall, Kaptain and the A. L.s witness a fatal car accident and impulsively intervene. But in doing so, the A. L.s revealed themselves to the unsuspecting world. As the people of the world witness, in shock and awe, the existence of A. L.s, the Army became overwhelmed with anger and want its 'property' back. But the Army isn't the only one that wants the A. L.s. A mysterious group, the papers christened 'The InVaders, ' enters into the chase for the A. L.s. An unforeseen battle erupts between the InVaders and the Army's prize unit, the Bone Brigade, leaving the Brigade all but decimated from this single encounter. Now the Leader of the Bone Brigade, Nathan, desperately seeks out the help of Kaptain to combat the InVaders. Kaptain and Nathan's bleak situations force them to enter into a begrudging alliance. But an unforeseen romantic triangle emerges between Kaptain, Venus, Kaptain's fearless confidant who has been infatuated with him since the day they met, and an unsuspecting love-struck Nathan. But none of this will matter if the InVaders lay their claws on the A. L.s first.
