Houses catch fire mysteriously in a small town in Arkansas. Suspicion focuses on the local fire chief, Buddy Bodie. He called on his investigator and polygraph examiner cousin, John Bodie, to find out why the fires are happening and who is responsible. He arrives to find a crooked county sheriff and a seedy real estate agent involved in a deadly conspiracy. John plies his polygraph skill and investigative expertise, in an attempt to solve the burnings and murders. That's when the real danger to him and his cousin begin. The beautiful deputy sheriff, Christy Buckholtz, teams up with the two cousins to solve the killings and arsons. Her dedication and ability contribute greatly in the effort to catch the conspirators.
